Werewolves’ Protests

*** DISCLAIMER – THIS BLOG IS FICTION AND THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANYONE WHO PERSISTS IN THINKING IT IS NOT FICTION ***

Werewolves often attend protests to do with the earth and climate change.

They are easy to spot at a protest as they always look somewhat unkempt. Oh, humans can look unkempt as well, but werewolves have an appearance of disarray all of their own.

Somehow their hair manages to stand out in all directions in a protest. I have seen well-groomed werewolves, but it seems to take effort, which is not applied as it should be in a protest.

Men wear stubble or beards, while women have hair that seems to have a life of its own and is trying to imitate Medusa’s.

Both sexes tend to wear dungarees, which I have not seen on any humans recently.

It is not always the same werewolves protesting. This is probably for the usual reasons of availability and politics.

They are often the most vocal at a protest and can be picked out easily by those Old Vampires watching, especially as they are the most physical of protestors.

By this I mean that they always seem to be waving their arms and placards around instead of marching in a seemly fashion.

They do not usually start fights, although I have seen one or two demolish the human police who started them; more fool the human police. Even then they are holding back for fear of humans realising they are not human.

I suspect that they have a genuine concern for the planet that we all live on and are trying to help it survive.

Others think they are just trying to be human, as they like to play pretend they are. Others think they have a political motive.

Since starting work at a prison I have learnt that not everything is done because of politics.
