Information Centre

I am what in the modern world is called an information centre.  This is because I receive queries from Old Vampires all over Britain.

Ostensibly, the queries are to do with my work on The Committee, but in reality since I am forced to w.o.r.k. with humans the questions are more to do with etiquette.

We have always socialised with the upper classes, but we can be somewhat out of touch with the lower and middle classes and thus I am often asked for advice when someone is having trouble with their prey.

I am also asked questions on British law.  We obey our rules above anything else, but not the rules of prey.  However, we also have a distaste of wasting time in court and jail.

Queries which have to do with my Committee work are answered faithfully, queries which do not have anything to do with Committee work will be answered depending on what information I want the querent to have and whether the querent is an ally of mine or not.

I occasionally refuse to answer a question, usually because the querent is not an ally.  Sometimes the questions I am asked are ones that I know better than to ask questions about.  Sometimes it is the fact that a certain person is asking them.

These questions get answered immediately and I do not ask for favours in return or look for leverage stored up for the future, as I do with other non-Committee questions.

Fortunately I still have the luxury of taking time to answer questions.  The rush rush rush that humans have nowadays has not permeated The Committee, despite the fact there is a human on it.

He occasionally tries to get us to stick to a deadline whereupon looks are shared between myself and the other members and then the deadline is forgotten about.
