Presentation

*** DISCLAIMER – THIS BLOG IS FICTION AND THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANYONE WHO PERSISTS IN THINKING IT IS NOT FICTION ***

Yesterday Ronald and I flew with The Ruler’s Men to present the petition to The Ruler.

As usual, we were escorted into The Ruler’s presence.  We bowed until The Ruler told us to stand up.

I then presented Ronald to The Ruler.  This involved a long recitation of Ronald’s origins, development and employment history.

I have not written about this as it is quite boring for someone who does not hold any interest in the person concerned.

For us, it was necessary to prove Ronald is a person of some substance and standing and not just a common Old Vampire Servant.

Despite my briefing Ronald was in a heightened state of excitement, so my long presentation gave Ronald time to collect himself and remember that he is an Old Vampire butler and must at all times conduct himself with the decorum and etiquette demanded.

After my presentation, which concluded with sponsoring Ronald’s petition, Ronald made his presentation.

I was pleased that he took my advice, one piece of which was to have others advise him in presenting his petition.

I advised him to ask his employers for their advice as their Status may rise or fall because of this petition.

As a result Ronald’s presentation was much better than the one he gave to me.

He answered The Ruler’s questions well, even when they were on unexpected and difficult subjects, such as the morality of his employers.

Now we have to wait upon The Ruler’s judgement.  I have informed Ronald it will take a while, but I do not think he believes me.

Jane, my Old Vampire Servant, informs me that they expect a quick resolution to this problem.  I replied with a two hour lecture on why this was not possible.
