Committee Views

*** DISCLAIMER – THIS BLOG IS FICTION AND THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANYONE WHO PERSISTS IN THINKING IT IS NOT FICTION ***

Since my last post about The Committee the other three representatives have calmed down around me and are no longer checking where I am in the room.

When they realise that I am the same person I always was then normal relations will be resumed.

They still give me sideways glances when they think I am not looking.  To the irritation of everyone, the New Vampire representative Nosferatu brings this to my attention.  If they were allowed to kill, Nosferatu would be dead within a heartbeat.

Unfortunately we are forced to have a New Vampire representative.  He can be useful at times and a replacement is not guaranteed to be any more insightful than him, especially as these are New Vampires.

Nosferatu writes my opinion of him off as Old Vampire prejudice.  However, we are not prejudiced without cause and I have detailed the reasons elsewhere in this blog if you care to look.

We do not socialise outside Committee meetings, so all we know about each other is from business meetings.

As for the peoples behind the representatives, I have a New Vampire contact, but unfortunately the werewolf community is firmly closed to non-werewolves.

That leaves the Human Police, of whom I had people look into.  Unfortunately I made the mistake of thinking it would be easy and was not careful who I assigned to this.

The Obligatee who I sent to find information was caught and sent back to me with the message that there would be repercussions if anything like this happens again.  I admit this impressed me and I will have to find out more about humans in general, as obviously the contact I have with human colleagues is not enough.
