The Views of Vampires in Prison on Humans

*** DISCLAIMER – THIS BLOG IS FICTION AND THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANYONE WHO PERSISTS IN THINKING IT IS NOT FICTION ***

Old Vampires who are or who have been in prison hate humans, because humans put them inside.

They tell me that when they are let out they will “go on holiday” to a country devastated by war and wreak their vengeance on the population.

This could be done, but since when let out their Status drops to zero no Old Vampire will lift a finger to help them.

I have already helped their Servants gain other employment; unfortunately usually lower positions as they are marked by the stigma of working for a prisoner, their assets have been seized by The Ruler, except for the ones which were quickly appropriated by other Old Vampires.

They think they can go back and carry on as normal when they get out of prison.  I have tried telling them that their Status will drop to zero and assets have been seized, but they do not believe me.

They think they can do as they please and carry on as normal.  If they could do that, they would not be in prison in the first place.

Like all the human prisoners, it is not their fault they are in here.  Some of them still protest their innocence in the face of all the facts proclaiming them to be guilty.

Some of them say it is the fault of the victim or that they made a false accusation.

I thought that Old Vampires would be different, but it seems that prisoners are all the same whoever they are.

Old Vampires are left alone when in prison, which is why I have to visit them.

Humans are encouraged to do jobs or education, but most of them would rather watch television.

An Old Vampire would not entertain either of these objectives and prisons gave up trying to enforce them a long time ago.
