My grubby little New Vampire contact Columbine has still not forgiven me for the cell search she went through, which I did not instigate.

I have found that she has had visitors only after the fact.  I am informed of the visitors of all vampire prisoners, as we keep a close watch on Old Vampires in prison to make sure they do not disgrace us.

I do not care about New Vampire prisoners but am informed about them since humans cannot make the distinction between Old and New Vampires.

Usually I am informed before the fact, but Columbine said she would tell me and since I was visiting her regularly the officers agreed to this.

It is unusual for any vampire to receive visitors.  An Old Vampire would not go near a prison unless she or he was forced to, whereas Columbine told me New Vampires never bother visiting other New Vampires in prison.

Unfortunately I have been unable to track the visitors down.  I had their addresses investigated thoroughly, but they turned out to be derelict.

Evidence of vampires living there was found, but unfortunately there were no actual New Vampires, or they would have been hung out to dry in the sun.

The visit must have been arranged through the mail.  The few New Vampire prisoners we have are on different wings, so it would be difficult for them to co-ordinate.

Fortunately they don’t get on anyway, so their movements are very closely monitored.

They keep away from humans as much as they can as loss of control could happen, whereas Old Vampire prisoners have control and mix freely with others, as contact with any species is better than none at all.
