Caves of Cheddar Gorge

My holiday itself was spent in the caves of Cheddar Gorge.  I’d wanted to visit the caves for a long time, as the ones not on show to the public are an extremely exclusive vampire spa.

I’d known for a while that Adele is one of the privileged few who can access the spa, so I dropped her name to the owners and they granted me admission.

Before being Obligated to her I would not have done this.  She was a friend and ally and it would not have been beneficial for me.  But now I have nothing to lose.

Of course, she’s absolutely furious with me and we had another screaming row.  After she had calmed down I explained her position to her.

That was quite a shock to her as an Obligatee has never, ever done this.  I explained that she had two choices : she could provide certain things for me or I will find another job.  It is my current job that she needs information from and Adele has “gone away to think about all of this”.

This is something no Obligatee has managed to do.  This is because Adele has asked for information from the prison where I work.  No other Obligator has asked for anything other than information on other Old Vampires.

I still do not know why she wants information about various prisoners.  I have decided not to try and find out until she is of no further use to me.

We’re not obliged to reward Obligatees in any way at all, but I reward my Obligatees according to the value of information they bring me and the usefulness it has.  I do this because it keeps the standard of information I get high.

If your superiors are not treating you well, you have to train them to treat you well.  You just have to find the right lever to push, although that may take a long time.
