Justice System

*** DISCLAIMER – THIS BLOG IS FICTION AND THE AUTHOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ANYONE WHO PERSISTS IN THINKING IT IS NOT FICTION ***

We observe the human justice system as a courtesy and let them deal first with a vampire offender, as we and the offender have time to wait and the humans do not.

If the crime is not against a human, then the human justice system will not be called into it.

The Vampire Hunters operate our justice system. If the police are involved, the Vampire Hunters will get a copy of the investigation.

The Vampire Hunters then check that investigation a second time. They have to treat humans exactly as their police would do, but it’s a different story for any non-humans involved.

If they turn up evidence that exonerates the vampire, they hand that over to the police.

When the police check the Vampire Hunters’ evidence and exonerate her or him themselves, the vampire is handed over to the Vampire Hunters, as is a vampire who has just been released from prison.

The Vampire Hunters will check if he or she has done anything to expose us to humans apart from the police.

Their methods can leave marks that don’t properly heal for centuries. If they find you have exposed us to the humans or committed the cardinal crime of rape, then no-one will ever hear from you again.

Rape is the most serious crime a vampire can commit, and there have only been a handful of vampire rapists in the history of our society.

Why would a vampire commit rape when she or he can so easily attract human partners?
The ones who do are considered to have no limits and they must be put down.

You are probably asking why I write this blog when I may be bringing Vampire Hunters down on my neck. The answer is that they think people see me as just a nut on the net.
